Blackrose City, commonly shortened to BR, is a human kingdom found shortly northwest of New Verden. 

The most popular attraction is the [[Blackrose Mage Arena]] (BRMA, BRA), a small playerkilling arena open for both physical and magical fighters. This arena is an active playerkilling zone, where one does not have to be in the player killers' guild to fight. Any level can enter the arena, but it is frequented by mid-high level characters. 

The city is also known for its dragon caves training area, where a fighter advances through multiple levels of what appear to be dragon colonies. As the levels progress, the monsters become increasingly difficult. The area is rich in experience points and is common knowledge among Wyverners to the point where the caves are quite often cleared out or claimed by another player.
