Rakshasas cannot wear gloves or shields, but they can wear socks on their tails to offset this.
Rakshasa WC calculation is (2 * Level) + 10
Rakshasa ninjas gain +2 WC per ninja level when unarmed.
Despite their appearance, spiked gauntlets and kinetic gauntlets are not wieldable Rakshasa weapons.
Claws
WARNING: As of 2/12/2021 wieldable claw weapons will almost always have a lower Weapon Class than your natural claws after early levels. This means anytime you are wielding them you are effectively weaker. E.g. Hunters Claws are not usable until level 20, and have at best 35 WC, but a guildless level 20 Rakshasa will have a natural WC of 50.
Aside from a few scenarios where you are fighting Cut-resistant mobs, you will deal more damage with nothing in your hands. Even the highest damage claws available before Hunter's Claws (Diamond Claws of damage +10 with a WC of 48 (base 38+10)) will be matched at level 19 by your natural claws, and have the same Cut damage type. This means due to the increased level requirement with the increased stats on the claw weapon, and that your natural claws scale every level, you will need to constantly upgrade your claw weapon to keep pace. Given how quickly you'll be going through the lower levels you're wasting more time and money on equipment management when you could just be grinding past this stage.
