Overview
The Game-O-Meter can be applied to see how long the server has been up. It comes in both a furniture version (A Spiffy Yellow Game-O-Meter) and an item version (A Pocket Sized Game-O-Meter).
Mechanics
Because the server is reset every 8 hours, it's important to know the server's up-time before buying or otherwise obtaining Artifacts, starting Quests, or perhaps delving into a Random Dungeon.
