the failure is an experiment of binyamin gone terribaly wrong. he was trying to create a new draconian race, when one of his archshogoliches got loose into his workroom. in the resulting chaos, various phials, jars, jugs, and crates got smashed, the resulting debris fluttering in the air until it fell into the cauldron. no one is quit sure what this create is made of .. or is capable of . not knowing what else to do with it, binyamin banished it to hades.
